Must be close to three weeks that I have not had a chance to add anything to the blog. I have some things to put on the blog, but I simply haven't had the time to get them ready. The translation work, coupled with extra work in the consulate, has taken up all the other time that I'm not involved in something with the church. I must confess that it almost caught up with me last Sunday. The Lord got me through the last service and I have gotten a little more rest this week. I can practically say that I am caught up on translations, but the pressure in the consulate won't be off until May 28. Important government company will be here most of next week and will be the culmination of many hours of work already put in...starting Tuesday, the work will be from morning to night until Monday or Tuesday of the following week.
In the last few weeks, we have had one more person present herself for baptism.
Lucia lives on the north coast of the island and it is a rather long drive for her to come to services, but she is firm in her faith. We now have two candidates for baptism, and we are praying for some others to take the same step.
Thanks to all those who stop by and check on our news. Your prayers are so important to us and the work. I'll be back with more as soon as I can.
