Newest Sign in Town

There's a new sign in town. Right on one of the main routes in and out of the center of Funchal, just a block from our church, where it can be seen by people going up or down the main street.  Our location has been marked on the maps given out by the Tourist Office for the last 10 years or so; that was a major victory in itself. After starting from scratch almost 37 years ago, we now have a sign put up by the city government that not only points the way to the church, it serves to point out that there is a Baptist church in the city. How long until there's another Baptist church on the island? We can't say, but we pray that God will move hearts and that it won't take so long for the next one. I don't have another 37 years left on my clock.
