A tie to the past...

This blog is, in part, an attempt to recapture something of the ties between us and brethren, friends, and family around the world who have an interest in Madeira Island and in the spread of the gospel here.

There was a time when I had time: time to write, meditate, then write it all over again, in the attempt to communicate the Facts and the Facets of this island God called us to in 1976.

Much has changed in 28 years. The island has changed. We have changed. God has not changed. There is a lot to tell about, and maybe, just maybe, this will be the way to get back in touch with many old acquaintances. Obviously, there will be many who do not use the Internet, but for the many who do, we look forward to keeping in touch much better than before.
